6 Disease Resistant Elm Trees planted in the 5 Arches Nature Reserve

A note of thanks from Newton Parish Council to all the people who attended the celebration of planting the disease resistant Elm trees in the 5 Arches Nature Reserve in Newton. The trees have been specifically planted to support the rare butterflies beginning to populate the site and these have been generously donated by Mr Ram Singh founder of Savi Dharti Environmental Charity. Also, a big thank you to Warwickshire Butterfly Conservation in particular Mike Slater and his team of volunteers who continue to support this lovely site and of course not forgetting a big thank you for the very welcome refreshments provided for our visitors and attendees.
