Message re essential maintenance work on the A14

Essential maintenance work on the A14 between the M1 J19 and the A14 J2 has resumed.

As previously mentioned, the scheme has been extended due to the time lost to inclement weather earlier in the programme. The remaining activities require overnight (20:00 to 06:00) carriageway closures until the end of January as follows:

Eastbound

Mon 6 Jan to Fri 10 Jan

Mon 13 Jan to Fri 17 Jan

Westbound

Mon 20 Jan to Fri 24 Jan

Mon 27 Jan to Fri 31 Jan

The signed diversion route along the M1 and the A43 / A45 adds as little as 10 minutes on to journey times.  Closures coincide with those between M6 J4 and J2 on Wednesday 8 and Friday 10 January on the M6.
