Temporary Road Closure Notice – A428 Crick Road
Please see information regarding a temporary road closure on the A428 Crick Road, High Street, and Ashlawn Road, Rugby. This closure commences in February 2019.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984, SECTION 14
TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF A428 CRICK ROAD, HIGH STREET & ASHLAWN ROAD, RUGBY
Warwickshire County Council proposes to make a Temporary Traffic Order closing A428 Crick Road, High Street & Ashlawn Road, Rugby, from the junction with A428 Hillmorton Road to the junction with A5 Watling Street, to vehicular traffic.
The closure is required to facilitate carriageway patching and associated works.
The Order will commence on 13 February 2019 and will last for a period of 18 months, or until the works are completed, whichever is the earlier. However, it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 15 February 2019.
PLEASE NOTE: The work will be carried out between 09.30hrs and 15.30hrs daily.
Pedestrian access to and egress from properties and land situated adjacent to the length of road to be closed will be maintained at all times. Vehicular access will be maintained where possible.
Alternative routes will be signed and are available via:
East to West: A5 Watling Street, A426, A426 Leicester Road, A426 Newbold Road, A426 Corporation Street, A426 Warwick Street, A428 Lawrence Sheriff Street, A428 Hilmorton Road.
West to East: A428 Hilmorton Road, A428 Lawrence Sheriff Street , A426 Russelsheim Way, Bilton Road, A426 Corporation Street, A426 Newbold Road, A426 Leicester Road, A426, A5 Watling Street.
