Volunteer drivers are being recruited in Rugby Borough
VASA look after community volunteer transport for the borough and are recruiting volunteer drivers in Rugby Borough.
The scheme means that people living in the borough (they also cover Stratford and Warwick districts) can call to book a journey, paying a £3 fee and 45p per mile to the drivers. They will take people to medical appointments – including out of area such as Oxford / London / Birmingham – and also to social inclusion event such as lunch clubs or warm hubs.
